Machine Shop 101 - Hands-on safety and use

  • Prerequisite: Members Only

  • Class + Material Fee: $22.50

  • Class Size: Min-1/Max-4

  • Class Duration: 3 hr.

Come learn the basics to the equipment in our Sheetmetal and Machine Shop. Learn the basics to cut and form a sheetmetal box. This class also covers drill press and bandsaw. This class does NOT cover mill and lathe equipment.

Machine Shop 102 - Mill and Lathe safety and use

  • Prerequisite: Must be a skilled machinist or completed formal education classes

  • Class + Materials Fee: $60

  • Class Size: Min-2/Max-3

  • Class Duration: 4 hrs.

This class is to confirm you are skilled in the operation and safe use of the mill and lathe. These are dangerous and expensive pieces of equipment. We do not want newbies touching this equipment. If you don’t have the skills please complete classes at TMCC before taking this class.
