Battery storage - building a house battery - Summer 2024

• Prerequisite: Members Only

• Class + Material Fee: $20

• Class Size: Min-1/Max-6

• Class Duration: 4 sessions - 2.5 hrs each

  This class will show how to take used LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) cells and make a 48v or 12v battery suitable for powering a home, RV or other needs you might have.

  In the class we will receive the cells, test them, then design and build the battery.

  We will learn the characteristics and parameters of the LiFePO4 cells, the Battery Management System (BMS) and briefly touch on integrating it into a home utility (PV).

  We will learn the characteristics of the specialized test equipment we will be using.
